The personal benefits:
The benefits for your organisation:
We provide continued support, whether it’s enquiring about what’s right for you, attending the course or even support following on from your training. You’ll have access to our training area for ongoing support and our expert trainers have experience in both education and health and care settings so they can discuss the specific needs of your organisation.
Additional course information
It’s important you have the right level of recent experience before becoming a Team Teach accredited trainer so you have the skills and confidence necessary to lead training sessions within your organisation. Participants must have successfully completed a Positive Behaviour Management Level One – 6 Hour course within the previous 36 months, or a Level Two – 12 Hour course within the previous 24 months.
To become an Advanced trainer, you must have already completed the Intermediate training and hold a current certificate. You will also need to hold a valid one-day Emergency at Work First Aid Qualification, or equivalent.
Team Teach accreditation lasts for 12 months. You will need to complete an intensive two-day (intermediate) or three-day (advanced) re-accreditation course within this time period to ensure you continue to stay qualified to deliver training.
The vast majority of our participants achieve full accreditation, but if you do not reach the required confidence or competency levels, you can be awarded an ‘assist pass’ instead. This allows you to assist in the delivery of training courses delivered within your organisation. You can upgrade an ‘assist pass’ to a full pass by successfully completing a future intermediate re-accreditation course.
