In response to this problem, we are pleased to announce that Team Teach has developed a cost-effective training programme enabling you to have RSE experts within your setting.

From 16th October 2023 all training purchased that is due to run from 1st January 2024 will include our innovative new platform Team Teach Connect.

Do your staff feel ready, equipped and confident in delivering statutory Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) to your learners with additional needs?
The Department of Education (DfE) have made Relationships Education compulsory in all primary schools in England and Relationships and Sex Education compulsory in all secondary schools, as well as making Health Education compulsory in all state-funded schools.
The key decisions on these subjects have been informed by a thorough engagement process, including a public call for evidence that received over 23,000 responses from parents, young people, schools and experts and a public consultation where over 40,000 people contacted the DfE.
Effective Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) provision is a right for all learners, yet it often proves challenging for educators and caregivers, particularly those teaching learners with additional needs.
Team Teach have developed an RSE Facilitator course to meet the requirements for the RSE curriculum within Education and helping Special Education further understand how they can build this into their schools.

Paul Bray
The course is developed in partnership with Paul Bray, Principal Team Teach trainer, experienced Educator and RSE specialist.
In his role as Headteacher of a Post-16 SEND provision in 2010, Paul quickly learned there was no RSE guidance relevant to his learners. Paul has become renowned for his work in supporting Relationships and Sex Education, particularly for disabled young people and those with special educational needs.
He’s taught on the Special Educational Needs & Disability Studies degree course, and been a speaker at the National Association of Colleges’ annual conference, the World Education Summit, the Sex Education Forum & the National Children’s Bureau conference.
